We would like to thank all the staff of the Clayton Hotel for making our wedding day a wonderful day to remember and the most amazing day of our lives. David and I cam e to the hotel in September 2010 to book our wedding for the following year. The level of service we received in the year was outstanding. Elaine listened to the little detail we requested and each time we met she had the job sheet updateed and so many ideas to support our day.
The day finally came last Saturday and what can we say but the Clayton Team pulled out all the stops and made sure all of our guests were exceptionally welcomed and were individually given the best of attention, Both of us have to say, it was the best wedding we were ever at. We have received so many compliments from so many of our friends and family. The reception on arrival and the wedding reception itself were outstanding. The menu for the wedding reception was so perfect, thank you for adding our picture to the menu, it is all these little touches that have our guests still talking about your quality of service. Your Chef and kitchen staff have to be commended.
The meal was absolutely fantastic- many people have commented on how goof the food was and especially how tasty it was considering the large amount of people attending our Wedding. Cathal and Jean delivered the food to the guest with a team of staff which were very efficient and friendly to all our guests, no request from a ny guest was too much for this team. Rory you have to be very proud of your team. We know all our guest had an absolute super day and I can tell you, it was a weddding that will be hard to beat. We will certainly remember it for a long long time to come.
Elaine, Cathal, Jean and Rory I have to say a special thank you for being able to accommodate our wishes on the day. It is amazing what a fantastic team of staff and support staff you have developed in the Clayton, we wish you and all the staff of the Clayton the very best and this is only the beginning of a very good relationship.
I would have no hesitation in highly reccommending your hotel. Your professionalism and attention to detail was wonderful. We have received so many compliments from our guests on the great food and hospitality they experienced also and we wanted to pass them on to the team. If we could do it all again, we would not change a thing.

Dear Elaine, Cathal, Valerie, Jeanne and Co,
Liam and I just wanted to thank you all for making our Wedding reception such a success. From the moment we booked the Clayton we thought we were in safe hands and we were proved right.
So many of our guests commented on the beautuiful food and wonderful service. Neither Liam and I are from Galway, so a numbe of our family and close friends stayed in the hotel for a few nights. They were all impressed with the warm welcome they received as were we!
I also want to thank you for making you for making up the Wii room for the children. They had a great night and I know their parents appreciated it. A lot of people commented on how relaxed Liam and I were on the day of the Wedding and we can honstly say that this was largely due to knowing that the Clayton staff (in the kitchen and front of house) had everything under control. We couldnt recommend the Clayton highly enough!

Just got back from honeymoon yesterday,
Paul and I couldn’t have asked for anything better the day of our wedding everything was perfect and everybody we spoke to on and after the day said how lovely the food was and how every one had plenty to eat and how nice the staff were.
The hotel was fantastic in every way with all the preparations for the wedding and on the day we really couldn’t have asked for more it really was the best day if I could do it all again I would pick the Clayton every time.

Thank you kindly Elaine and to Cathal for all your help with organising our wedding. We had an absolutely fantastic day from start to finish. While the weather wasn’t great it didn’t dampen our spirits once we got to the hotel!!!
From the moment we arrived and our guests the staff at the Clayton Hotel were so kind and friendly to all. The meal was absolutely fantastic - many people have commented on how good the food was and especially how tasty it was considering the large amount of people. We were delighted with the food. The champagne reception was lovely and enjoyed by all. The waiting staff were fantastic and plenty of extra food was served to everyone that wanted it.
Thanks for organising the cutting of the cake so well - we were able to take home exactly the amount we requested the next day. The room looked superb when we entered I was really blown away.
We can honestly say we had a fantastic time and all staff involved were excellent on the day, we could not find fault in anything. The service, staff, food and drink was excellent.
Elaine, I have to say a special thank you to you, you made my life very easy and were so accommodating the whole time. I felt like you gave me the exact wedding I wanted - nothing was too much. You were so patient and very attentive to detail and everything I asked about you made it happen for me. I was very lucky to have had you help me organise our big day. So THANK YOU kindly for absolutely everything.
