Westend Street Feast

The Westend Street Fest will take place on Ravens Terrace on Bank Holiday Monday June 3rd from 11.00am to 4.00pm. The Street Feast brings together the much loved and award-winning businesses in the area and allows visitors to sample a taste of each. Participants include: Kai Restaurant, Dela Restaurant, John Keogh’s Bar, An Tobar Nua and lots more.

Entry is free and traffic will be closed off from Ravens Terrace on the day. There’ll be entertainment with live music and face painting for the kids. This is a family-friendly day in the Westend that aims to encourage people to cross the bridge and enjoy this much-loved area of Galway.

Bia Lover Food Festival

Now in its sixth year, it’s safe to say that Bia Lover Food Festival is one of the biggest regional food events attracting thousands of visitors each year. This year’s event will take place in Athenry on the 22nd and 23rd of June and follows the theme of ‘Nature’s Larder’. The festival will again centre around its producer market where local and international food and drink producers promote their produce.

This family friendly event promises to be a brilliant weekend. There’ll be live music, dancing, a multicultural food tasting, baking and BBQ competitions, children’s activities and lots more entertainment. The best part? Entry is free.
