Clayton Hotel Galway’s leisure centre has a modern 20-metre swimming pool available to all residents complimentary. For ultimate relaxation, the leisure facilities at the hotel also feature a sauna.
Swimming hats are compulsory and available for purchase at €3 if required.
Our Child Admission Policy
Children aged 8 years and under and any child with armbands must be accompanied by a responsible adult in the swimming pool at all times. Children aged 9 to 14 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult who must remain in view of the child in the pool. Children aged 15 years and upwards may be unaccompanied but must have a parent, guardian (17 years or over) within the building.
Kids are welcome in the swimming pool up and until 7pm each evening with dedicated family time between 10am and 5pm daily. We have fully qualified and experienced lifeguards present at the swimming pool at all times.
Whatever way you train, our gym has a wide range of equipment to keep you going throughout your stay. Full use of the gym is complimentary for hotel guests.

A fully personalised gym programme can also be compiled upon request for the duration of your stay at Clayton Hotel Galway. The gym team are always on hand to assist in the usage of any gym equipment. They can also advise of the unique benefits on your body of each machine.
Avail of the opportunity to experience the peaceful ambience of the mixed Swedish-style sauna where you can let the heat and steam melt your cares away. The adults-only sauna offers the ultimate in relaxation. The heat of the sauna will assist in opening blocked pores and rid the body of any impurities. In addition to this, it is super for aches and pains and is great after a workout to help relieve muscle pain.
The facilities are offered on a complimentary basis for residents of the hotel and also for pool-only members.
